25th June: Arrival LehReach Leh and get a warm
welcome from the tour representative on day 01 (i.e. 25th June) of the Lamayuru
Monastery festival tour. Check in at the hotel and leisure for rest of the day.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
26th June: Leh Sight Seeing Full
day sightseeing tour of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monastery on day 02. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
27th June: Leh Sight Seeing Enjoy sightseeing
tour of Phyang monastery on June 27th. In the afternoon visit Matho and Stakna
monastery. Overnight stay at the hotel.
28th June: Leh - Sumur (Nubra
Valley) In the morning of June 28th, start to Nubra Valley via the World
Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass. On arrival transfer to the
Silk Route Cottages. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at the Cottage.
29th June: Nubra Sight Seeing Proceed for a visit to the White
Sand Dunes at Hunder on day 05 of the Lamayuru Monastery Festival Tour. Enjoy
the camel ride on your own or visit Hunder and Diskit monasteries. Trek your way
to the Samstaling Monastery in the evening. Overnight stay at The Silk Route Cottage.
30th June: Sumur to LehProceed for Leh and drive via Khardungla
pass the World Highest Motorable road in the morning of day 06. Explore Leh bazaar
for souvenir in the evening and later visit Leh Jokhang or Leh Mosque by foot.
Overnight stay at the hotel at Leh.
01st July: Leh Sight SeeingFull
day sightseeing tour of Leh on 1st July and visit places like Spituk monastery
and Stok Palace and museum. On return visit the Tibetan Refugee Center. Overnight
stay at the hotel at Leh.
02nd July: Leh to Uletokpo Day 08
of the Lamayuru Monastery Festival Tour begins with a drive from Leh to Uleytokpo
and enroute visit monastery. Enjoy the famous
Lamayuru Festival for full
day (Celebrated every year in July/ August, Lamayuru festival is like other monastic
festivals and is celebrated on a large scale). Overnight stay at Uleytokpo.
03rd
July: Sham Valley Sight Seeing Start your day with a morning excursion
to the beautiful village of Mangyu. In the afternoon visit the Rizong monastery
and Chulichan nunnery. Overnight stay at Uleytokpo camp.
04th July:
Uletokpo to Leh Drive back to Leh and enroute visit Alchi and Liker monastery
on day 10 of the Lamayuru Monastery Festival Tour. Overnight stay at hotel at
Leh.
05th July: Departure Transfer to the Leh airport to board
flight for the onward destination on day 11 of the tour
